As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide speech therapy services to designated students according to diagnoses and client needs to achieve speech therapy goals and improve overall speech functioning . This includes but is not limited to direct instruction prescriptive evaluation, consulting with school staff, parents or guardians, and representatives from the home school district, writing IEP goals and interventions, monitoring student’s progress toward goals and attending IEP meetings.
