Job Summary and Qualifications

The Cardiac Sonographeris an integral part of the Cardiopulmonary team. We pride ourselves in knowing that our employees are compassionate, kind and deliver high quality, patient centered care. What you will do in this role:

• You will be responsible for the accurate performance and coordination of various procedures in the Echocardiology Department, which includes Echocardiograms, vascular work, transesophageal echo, pacemaker analysis and exercise echo
• You will perform two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings for diagnosis of cardiac disease.
• You must have a working knowledge of stress testing and as it relates to the Echocardiology department. Either exercise stress or pharmacological stress
• You will participate in PI activities.
• You willassist with stress testing and other non-invasive cardio diagnostic testing.
• You will assist with other non-invasive cardo diagnostic testing.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), or Registered Cardiac Sonographer
