Job Summary and Qualifications

What You Will Do In This Role:

· You will perform Echoes, imaging, dobutamine tests and other cardiology tests for the purpose of diagnosing possible cardiac conditions.

· You will transport patients, distribute final reports, maintain data management system for echocardiograms, and processes documentation of tests performed.

· You will prepare patient and room, and maintain and complete appropriate equipment disinfection between patients.

· You will work as a part of a collaborative team with other hospital staff to deliver a team approach to each patient.

What qualifications you will need:

· Registered in one of the following: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or Registered Vascular Technologist from ARDMS; or Registered Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Vascular Specialist from CCI is required.

· 1 year of experience in performing echocardiography studies is required.

· Current BLS certification is required
